The U.S. State Department is warning U.S. citizens to avoid all nonessential travel to Honduras due to the current unstable political and security situation there. Noting the ouster on Sunday by the Honduran military of President Manuel Zelaya, the department also recommended that American citizens residing in and visiting Honduras remain close to their homes or hotels, unless they travel was for a scheduled departure from the country. On May 15, TSAís Secure Flight program started requiring all travelers on domestic flights to provide their full name ‚ as it appears on the government issued identification they will be traveling with ‚ when making airline reservations.
